Join us in New Orleans, Louisiana for the 35th Annual Conference of the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV). We are so thrilled to be meeting in the exciting city of New Orleans - a city where cultures collide in a brilliant explosion of flavors, emotions, and sounds. New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz, home to Creole cuisine and rich with history and culture. Because most of the city’s restaurants, attractions, tours, accommodations and event venues are within walking distance of each other, it’s easy to get around the “Big Easy” and is the perfect setting for networking. Within the 12-blocks of the historic French Quarter, come enjoy the charm of New Orleans, all while attending the AAV Conference.

This year, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV) and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV) will be joining AAV by providing pre-conference sessions and a small mammal hands-on laboratory. The American Association of Fish Veterinarians will also be joining us by providing both a master class in fish medicine and a practical hands-on laboratory.

Get all the CE you need in one great conference while networking with other exotic animal practitioners in this fabulous and lively city. The Sheraton New Orleans is our Conference Headquarters and is offering a discounted rate of $139 for a single/double/ triple/quad room.

We have a great line-up of educational sessions and a terrific expo for you! Plan to stay the whole week to get the most out of your attendance. Registration prices include several different options from which to choose. The 2014 Conference program offers a variety of master classes, hands-on workshops as well as social events—including a unique Kick-Off event, the best Guest Program ever, Conservation program, an all-day natural history trip, Monday Night social in the exhibit hall, and a special musical President’s Reception—to ensure that your trip is both educational and fun. Bring your family and sign up today. Reserve a spot at what will be the most comprehensive avian conference yet - in one of the most dynamic and spirited cities in the country.

Looking forward to seeing you in New Orleans!

Immediate Past-President and Conference Chair
